Privacy and protection of minors

When real accounts are enabled in the version being used, a cautious rule applies: every player under 18 must be linked to a verified parent or guardian before using protected real features.

1. One account, not two

The young person will have one player account only. The parent will not create a copy of the child’s account: they will sign in with their own adult account and request the link.

An adult player will use their own account independently.

2. Hand over the phone or send the code

The minor will be able to show the screen to the parent on the same device or share a GJP code. The code will be single-use, will expire after 15 minutes and only its hash will be stored in the database.

The code will not activate the account by itself. It will create a request without permissions: the parent’s identity and authorisation must be verified through a reliable process or an authorised review.

3. What the parent can see

The parent will see only the authorised areas needed to support their child. The club will not receive private answers from the parent education pathway and must not create rankings of families.

Links will begin without permissions and may be revoked. An ordinary administrator will not be able to turn an unverified request into active guardianship on their own.

4. AI disabled for minors in the Web App

When enabled, generative AI is reserved only for journeys used by authorised adults. Direct AI for a minor remains disabled: the parent reviews and publishes the protected journey before the child completes it without a direct AI chat.

Adult supervision, age-appropriate language, reporting, age verification and provider-retention limits apply as safeguards.

5. In simple words for young people

Your data is used only to let you use the authorised parts of the app safely.

Do not enter addresses, passwords, phone numbers, documents, secrets or information that could identify you or someone else in a chat. If something makes you uncomfortable, close the screen and speak to an adult you trust.

6. Revocation, questions and deletion

The parent can request that the link be revoked and the account deleted. The young person can also ask for explanations in understandable language and, where applicable, exercise their rights.

Write to info@g-j-s.it or use the Account deletion page. Do not send passwords, GJP codes or documents in a normal email.

7. Online lessons with Tutors

For a lesson intended for a minor, the parent or guardian uses their own account, chooses the tutor, makes the booking and remains the adult contracting party. Free private contact between the tutor and the minor is not permitted: messages, invitations and lesson links pass through the authorised adult.

When available, the video lesson will use Google Meet linked to the booking. GJ Soccer does not automatically record audio or video. Reviews must not include the minor’s name, image, school or other identifying data.
